PIASI di Mumplin
A charming sweet wine rich in bouquet that gives fragrant sensations.
Grape varieties:
white berries grapes grown on the Roerine hillsides
Vineyard location:
medium-high hillside (200-300m asl)
Vinification:
The grapes are left to wither on the vine until later autumn.
Carefully harvesting by hand, soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation in small french barrels for 36 months.
Tasting Notes:
Golden yellow colour tending to amber.
Intense and complex bouquet with rich aromas of acacia flowers, honey.
Pleasantly sweet, round on the palate. Persistent in vanilla, candied fruit.
Food pairing:
Enjoy it on its own. Perfect match for dessert and chocolate.
It is ideal with seasoned cheese. Serving temperature 8-10° C.
